Grassroots Action

The MMA offers several ways for physicians to advocate for the issues they care about in their communities and at the Capitol.

Advocacy All-Stars
This program was created for physicians who recognize the importance of grassroots advocacy and are personally invested in bringing expertise and personal experience into the legislative process. By becoming an Advocacy All-Star, members commit to the association’s advocacy efforts by responding to Action Alerts promptly, forming or building upon relationships with state legislators, making themselves available as health care resources for lawmakers, attending MMA’s annual Day at the Capitol, and becoming a MEDPAC member.
