About the MMA Medical Student Section
The Minnesota Medical Association Medical Student Section (MMA-MSS) is an organization composed of medical students attending schools in the State of Minnesota who are members of the Minnesota Medical Association. The mission of the MMA-MSS is three-fold:
- To inform medical students of legislative initiatives and activities in organized medicine, and to encourage participation among the membership so that medical students can speak as a united voice on today's issues.
- To support and/or program various educational events designed specifically for medical students on topics not necessarily addressed in medical school.
- To plan an annual event that is defined as a community service project, so that medical students can work together to benefit our community.
