Welcome!
In our 88th year as an organized alliance, the Minnesota Medical Association Alliance’s mission is to partner with physicians to promote the good health of Minnesota and support the family of medicine.
The purposes of our organization are:
- To assist in those programs of the Minnesota Medical Association that improve the health and quality of life for all people.
- To promote health education and projects.
- To encourage participation of volunteers in activities that meet community health needs.
- To support health-related charitable endeavors.
The MMA Alliance has focused on health education resources that can be used in outreach projects in our communities at no charge toour county Alliances. You will find these resources listed on our website, and an order form as they can be purchased at a nominal charge to cover our printing costs.
At the county level, Alliances offer a variety of community health related projects, fundraisers and programs to assist medical students as well as the medical societies.
The state Legislative Chair keeps us up to date with the latest advocacy news; E-News is sent out monthly, and Scope, our newsletter, is mailed three times a year, and can be viewed on this site.
